Family farm is located in the village of Višnjevik, in the western part of Slovenia, in the heart of the Goriška Brda wine-growing region. We proudly cultivate vineyards, olive groves, and orchards, continuing a tradition deeply rooted in respect for nature and the land.
Olives are hand-harvested and transported to the olive mill on the same day, ensuring exceptional freshness and preserving the highest quality of the oil. Cold extraction takes place at a controlled temperature of 26°C, after which the oil is carefully stored in stainless steel containers in a dark environment to protect its integrity.
What makes our olive oil truly distinctive is its unique growing location — at the natural crossroads between the Alps and the Mediterranean, at the very northern limit where olive trees can still thrive. This exceptional terroir gives our oils a character that is both elegant and expressive.
The oil offers a pleasant, well-balanced taste and aroma, with a harmonious interplay of fruitiness, peppery notes, and gentle bitterness. On the nose, it reveals aromas reminiscent of fresh fruit (citrus notes) and freshly cut grass.
